Union Finance Minister (Minister of Finance of India) Nirmala Sitharaman (Nirmala Sitharaman) has made a big announcement for Indian Railways in Budget 2023. This time 2.4 lakh crore rupees have been allocated in the budget for railways. This is almost 9 times more than the 2013-14 budget. In 2013, the budget for railways was around Rs 63,363 crore. This is considered to be the highest capital expenditure for railways.

Railways has changed very rapidly in the last few years and it is constantly improving. Indian Railways is planning to introduce a newly designed Vistadome LHB coach on tourist routes. Through this, passengers will get a great travel experience. It is expected to be included in today’s budget.
The emphasis of the country’s trains is on speed. Bullet trains are in the works, but now the government aims to take Vande Bharat to every major route in the country. Apart from this, emphasis is being placed on reducing the cost of transporting goods by road. For this, the work of the freight corridor can be accelerated. For this, the government has planned to build tracks to run goods trains in many major states of the country.
