Bandhan Bank FD: The big announcement was made by Bandhan Bank. They are increasing the interest rate on Fixed Deposits (FD). Bandhan hiked interest rates on fixed deposits for the second time in three months. Bandhan Bank is one of the most popular names among private sector banks. Bandhan Bank informed that they are increasing interest by 50 basis points (BPS). This interest rate will be applicable on retail deposits up to Rs 2 crore. This new interest rule is going to be effective from 6 February 2023. However, this interest rate will be applicable for a limited period. Since the announcement of this new interest rate hike, the bank has been offering the highest interest rate on fixed deposits among all banking sectors. This special offer is going to be valid for 600 days. Bandhan Bank is offering interest rates up to 8.5 percent to senior citizens and 8 percent to others on FDs. Bandhan Bank FDs continue to be one of the highest interest rates offered in the banking industry today.
