Budget 2023 India: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget in Parliament on February 1. At the beginning of the budget presentation today, the finance minister said that this is the first budget of the Modi government. He said, Indian economy has risen from 10 to 5th. He also said that in the last 9 years, the Indian economy has risen from the 10th place in the world to the 5th place.

The Modi government is working to improve the quality of life of all Indians. He made it clear that the budget has been prepared keeping in mind the common people. Apart from this, Nirmala Sitharaman also said about making women self-reliant and strong in this year’s budget.

Sitharaman said the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate for the current financial year is estimated at 7 percent, which is the highest among the world’s major economies. Besides, he said, Indian economy is a shining star in the whole world today. India’s status in the world has increased a lot. Indian economy is moving towards a bright future.

He said that the Modi government has provided free food for 28 months during Corona. A total of 80 crore people have been given this free food. Nirmala Sitharaman said that the Modi government is working to improve the quality of life of all Indians.

Besides, during the presentation of the budget, the Finance Minister said that more than 11 crore toilets have been constructed by the Centre. Nirmala Sitharaman assured that per capita income will double as compared to 2014. Besides, the finance minister announced to take action on green energy. He said that the government is also working on green energy.
