Budget 2023 PM Awas Yojana: Expectations of the general public were high about the 2023 budget. Bearing that expectation, the Union Finance Minister presented the Union Budget in Parliament on February 1. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made a big announcement about Awas Yojana in today’s budget.

Nirmala Sitharaman said in this context that the cost of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is being increased by 66%. As a result the cost of the project is going to be over Rs 79,000 crore. This announcement was made by the finance minister during the presentation of the budget. Also, the Union Finance Minister said the scope of capital investment is being increased by 33% to Rs 10 lakh crore, which will be 3.3% of GDP.

Besides, on this day the finance minister announced that the country’s economy is on the right track. In last 9 years Indian economy has moved from 10th position to 5th position.
