What items have increased sales on Valentine’s Day?
Alwinder Dhindsa, founder of Blinkit, said that the sale of both condoms and candles increased significantly on Valentine’s Day. Blinkit’s founder also brought forward the evidence of this increase in sales. But not only condoms and candles, but also men’s deodorants, women’s perfumes, bouquets, a rose stick and chocolate. Sales of condoms and candles increased
Alwinder has brought forward the picture of Blinkit’s inside data. He brought forward one image for condoms and another image for candles. As seen in the shared image, Blinket saw a slight increase in condom sales compared to other days. On the other hand, the sale of candles has increased a lot. Sales of candles increased almost 3 times compared to other days. According to a report, the sale of condoms increased by almost 22 percent during Valentine’s week compared to last year i.e. 2022. Sales of deodorants and perfumes have also increased
Alwinder, founder of Blinkit, tweeted, ‘Looks like love is in the air or is it just a pleasant aroma?’ The picture shared by the founder of Blinkit shows that sales of men’s deodorant increased on February 14 compared to other days. Selling chocolates

Sales of roses and flower bouquets have increased
It would be wrong to think only that condom sales have increased. Blinkit sold more than 10,000 single stick roses on Valentine’s Day morning. Record bookings at Oyo on Valentine’s Day
On Valentine’s Day, Yoyo also saw a massive increase in bookings. 38% more OYO bookings have increased in Kolkata itself. Besides, Vrindavan beat Goa in OYO bookings on Valentine’s Day. Bookings in Bengaluru increased by 51 percent and bookings in Pune increased by 45 percent. Vrindavan has the highest number of room bookings in the entire country on the day of love.
