: At present, multiple changes are being made in various fields in keeping with the times. Even financial transactions have undergone radical changes. Cashless transaction is now observed in every part of the country. Besides, people are getting used to this process. Most notably, overall the service has made financial transactions easier.
In this situation, a big information has come forward in this context. Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has already claimed in a discussion meeting in Australia that India is gradually moving towards occupying the top position in the world in terms of cashless transactions.
“If you look at the specific UPI (Unified Payments Interface) ID of our cashless transactions, I think we are going to record the highest number of cashless transactions in the world,” Union External Affairs Minister Raisina-Sydney told the Business Breakfast.
Let us inform in this context that Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced demonetisation on November 8, 2016. This decision brought about a major change in the Indian economy. Basically, since then the process of digital transactions has been increasing. Not only this, money transactions are also started in full swing by scanning QR code or directly through bank account through UPI ID. In such a situation, the use of UPI apps like PhonePe, Google Pay and Paytm also started to increase.

In this situation, Union External Affairs Minister Jaishankar said, “Nowadays, the influence of technology in the mindset of people has increased in relation to these changes in transactions during the tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government.” Hence, cashless transactions are also increasing continuously.” He also said, “We have been continuously encouraging people to use cashless transactions.” Besides, the foreign minister also said that special importance has been given by the Center to the necessary security measures in the case of digital transactions.
