IIT Guwahati offers special opportunities for foreign nationals of India or those of Indian origin. It was recently informed that the candidates will be able to participate in the upcoming JEE Advanced exam even if they have not given the Joint Entrance Main exam. That is, they are being given the opportunity to apply for the exam directly.
The Joint Entrance Advanced (JEE Advanced) exam is going to be held on June 4 this year. Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati is organizing the related exam. In a recent statement from the organization, foreign candidates who have passed Class XII in India or abroad or are studying in Class XII need not mention JEE Main exam in their application form at the time of JEE Main registration.

Instead, they can submit the registration form by filling the other required information. Candidates having ‘OCI’ or ‘PIO’ card will get this opportunity. Besides, all foreign students who are studying in Indian universities will also get an opportunity to participate in the examination.
