SBI Credit Card: State Bank of India (SBI) has announced changes to credit card charges and fees for cards and payment services The new SBI credit card charges are said to be effective from 17 March 2023. Recently an email goes out to customers from SBI Card. The email said “Please note that your SBI credit card charges will be revised from 17th March’23”.

Recently SBI has revised some rules for its SimplyCLICK cardholders for card and payment services with effect from January 2023. According to the State Bank of India Cards and Payment Services website, vouchers and reward points will be subject to two rules regarding redemption. Which will be changed in the new financial year of 2023.

SBI Card & Payment Services said “The Cleartrip Voucher issued to SimplyCLICK cardholders for reaching the spend milestone online on 6 January 2023 should be redeemed in a single transaction only and cannot be combined with any other offer/voucher. For more details.” Also the rules regarding reward points on online spend on Amazon.in through SimplyCLICK have also been changed from January 1.

Earlier, 10x Reward Points were available with SimplyCLICK Advantage SBI Card for online spending on Amazon.in. Which has been converted to 5 times reward points from 01 January 2023. However, this card will now continue to earn 10x reward points on online spend at Apollo 24X7, BookMyShow, Cleartrip, EazyDiner, Lenskart and Netmeds.

SBI Cards & Payment Services Ltd was earlier known as SBI Cards & Payment Services Private Limited. It is a pure play credit card company and payment solution provider in India. The SBI card was launched in October 1998 by India’s largest bank, State Bank of India and GE Capital.

In December 2017, State Bank of India and Carlyle Group acquired GE Capital’s stake in the company. SBI Card is headquartered in Gurugram and has branches in over 100 cities across India. The company is the only publicly listed pure-play credit card issuer in India.
