Share Market Updates: The Nifty index closed at 18,105.3 on Friday. There on Monday, the Nifty index opened the first week of the new year at 18,131.7 points. As a result, there has been no major change.

The main reason for this is that the international stock market has not seen much fluctuation. But even in that volume breakout has occurred in several stocks.

Wall Street’s major indexes closed in the negative on Friday. The Nasdaq Composite Index was down 0.11%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average Index was down 0.22% and the S&P 500 Index was down 0.25%.

The Nifty 50 index traded at 18,154.05 at 12:55 pm on Monday. Which is an increase of 48.75 points and 0.27%.

Broader indices have outperformed the stock market’s major indices.

The Nifty Mid-Cap 100 index gained 0.63% and the Nifty Small-Cap 100 index gained 0.51%.

As of December 30 data, FIIs were net sellers and DIIs were net buyers. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) sold shares worth around Rs 2,950.89 crore. Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) bought shares worth around Rs 2,266.2 crore.
