Among the various contestants last season, several managed to leave an impression on the judges. One of the contenders among them was Kamlesh Nanasaheb Jhumare, also known as Jugadu Kamlesh. He won everyone over with his business idea and many judges were surprised by his proposal.
In fact, in the first season of Shark Tank, Jugadu Kamlesh appeared for Indian farmers with a pesticide spraying machine he had developed over the course of seven years. After pitching this Jimmy on the show, he was advised to make certain changes by the Sharks.
Lenskart CEO Piyush Bansal invested Rs 10 lakh in his company in return for a 40 per cent stake in KG Agrotech. He also gave a loan of 20 lakhs without interest. Piyush Bansal was recently seen sharing an update on the device made by Jugadu Kamlesh in a video on Instagram.
In the video, Kamlesh and his design team demonstrate an advanced device that is fast, light and automated. Kamlesh said the device can reach a height of 10 feet. He also said that this machine will be of special use to the farmers. They will benefit from it. This device has been named ‘Bharat K-2’.
Piyush Bansal shared a video of the product on social media and wrote, “Some of us are not as privileged, but they have potential and sometimes they just need a little help to realize their dreams.”
