The number of candidates who got jobs with blank OMR sheets due to teacher recruitment corruption in the state is not less. It has been alleged that the OMR sheets (answer sheets) of numerous candidates including primary, upper primary have been defaced. Many candidates got appointed by sometimes giving few answers and sometimes by submitting blank OMR sheets. A lot of corruption has been found in the recruitment of Group D. CBI claims this corruption is limitless. However, on this day, SSC told the court that 125 candidates of Group D got jobs by submitting white papers.
Corruption in the recruitment of teachers in the state has spread far and wide. Group D appointments are also not free from corruption. It is already known that thousands of Group D candidates have been recruited illegally. A case was filed in the court in this regard. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has claimed that the number of illegal recruitments does not stop at 100 crores. It exceeds at least a couple of thousand. On this day, during the case in the court of Justice Gangopadhyay, the CBI claimed that there were 4 thousand 487 vacancies in the recruitment of Group D. Among them, more than 2,500 positions have been corruptly appointed. And the answer sheet of each of these candidates has been tampered with.

However, the School Service Commission denied this CBI figure. In this case, SSC claims, according to their report, a total of 125 candidates got jobs with blank OMR sheets. After this demand of SSC, the judge directed the School Service Commission and the Board of Secondary Education to submit a detailed report to the court through an affidavit within the next 10 days on the distorted answer sheet of SSC Group D recruitment.
