Controversy is again created in the recruitment of teachers in the state. Recently, several candidates testified in the Calcutta High Court that no aptitude test was conducted in the primary teacher recruitment process of 2016. In this context, Justice Gangopadhyay’s order on this day is that within the next seven days i.e. January 24th, the President of the Board should be informed whether the aptitude test was conducted for the recruitment of 2016.
The controversy over the appointment of primary teachers in the state has come to a head again. Recently, complaints are being raised that no aptitude test was taken for the candidates in the recruitment process of 2016. At present, this aptitude test is a very important stage in the primary teacher recruitment interview. Where teaching skills of candidates are judged. There is a separate number for that. Earlier, Justice Gangopadhyay had warned of cancellation of the panel of 42,500 primary teachers due to irregularities in the recruitment of teachers in 2016. Once again, the judge gave a strict order to find out the whereabouts of Beniyam in the recruitment process. He said that within a week, the board president should be informed whether the aptitude test was conducted that year. Apart from this, the president of the board has been instructed to give an affidavit on the method of aptitude test being completed in this year’s recruitment process.
