In Wednesday’s budget speech, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said prices of daily necessities like TVs and chimneys may come down this time. Also, camera lenses with batteries can be cheaper. Although the prices are increasing for many things. According to the information received in this context, the price of foreign toys will increase. Besides, the prices of cigarettes and precious metals have also been increased in the Union Budget.
Meanwhile, import duty on other sectors except agriculture and textiles has been reduced from 21 percent to 13 percent. Besides, the finance minister announced that the price of electric cars and bicycles will also decrease. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the topic of self-reliant India at the beginning of the budget this year. In this situation, it has been decided to give a 2.5 percent rebate on import duty on parts for manufacturing TVs in the country.
In this case, the price of the TV will come down a lot in view of the import duty exemption. Besides, reducing the import duty of chimney will also reduce its price. Also, domestically produced toys will also be available at a lower price along with a reduction in the price of industrial alcohol.

In this context, let us inform that the import duty has been exempted on mobile parts. As a result, the price of mobile phones will decrease. The price of diamonds is going down. The budget also exempted duty on diamonds. Besides, lithium batteries are going to get cheaper after the budget. However, prices of imitation jewelry are going up. Not only that, the price of cigarettes may increase by 16 percent after the Union Budget. Also, increasing the import duty on compound rubber will increase the price of rubber.

However, the current budget also has big surprises in terms of tax breaks. Basically, the employees are relieved with the announcement of tax exemption. This year, if the income is up to 7 lakh rupees, you will get a discount in terms of income tax. That is, the income tax exemption limit is being increased from 5 lakhs to 7 lakhs. Besides, those whose annual income is up to 9 lakh rupees, will have to pay income tax of 45 thousand rupees. Which is about 25 percent less than before. Not only that, those whose annual income is up to 15 lakh rupees will have to pay tax of 1.5 lakh rupees. Earlier the amount was 1 lakh 87 thousand taka.
