UGC | UGC ordered universities to bring special procedures to facilitate students’ two degree courses! – mssewb.org

One of the most important recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 was dual degree courses. That is, the UGC said, students can participate in two degree courses simultaneously based on their interest. Recently UGC has issued a guideline for universities. There the students are directed to ensure that there is no difficulty in the course of the two degrees.

According to the National Education Policy, the University Grants Commission (UGC) states that willing students can join two degree courses simultaneously. In this regard, permission was given to participate in two academic programs together in April last year. After the respective announcement many students applied for admission in two courses simultaneously. But therein lies the problem. According to the students, in case of admission to the second course, the educational institutions ask them for the migration certificate of the previous course/institution, school leaving certificate. As a result, due to lack of relevant documents, they face problems in getting admission in their preferred courses.
